About WCFN

White Collar Fight Night is an Austin-based boxing events startup, founded 2025. WCFN delivers live, spectator-driven boxing events & networking galas - specifically for competitors in business & tech.

Our team instructs founders, execs, engineers, and builders in the fundamental techniques of competitive boxing - over the course of a 16-week Training Camp. Once in fighting shape, these competitors step into the ring to showcase their skill and grit. Fighters leave the event with an official amateur record.

The fights presented at WCFN events are sanctioned, amateur-regulation bouts. Officiation is provided by league referees, with ringside medical attendants present.

The Team

WCFN was created by boxing coach and trainer Seth Zanutto, owner of Zanutto PT. The fight event venture was born from his desire to revitalize interest in spectator-driven boxing.

Seth soon brought on Co-Founder Benjamin Hill (Founder of B Team Events) to manage Operations & Marketing, capitalizing on his experience with tech-driven community events.

The core team is joined by John McDonald (Co-Founder of ATX DAO, frmr - Icon, Oracle, MongoDB) to drive WCFN's tech industry reach, and to manage Brand & Sponsor Partnerships.

Fight Camp

The WCFN Training Camp takes place over the course of 16 weeks, building new fighters' skills from the bottom up. Fighters train 3-5 times a week, developing skills, conditioning, and confidence to step into the ring.

Week 1-3: Base footwork, conditioning, fundamentals

Week 4: First sparring sessions. From this point forward, boxers spar every other week leading up to the fight.

Week 5-7: Continued drills to develop fundamentals and core skills.

Week 8: First sparring sessions between matched event opponents.

Week 9-15: Intensive development for peak performance condition.

Week 15: Final training week. Work on mental readiness, coachability, and fortitude in preparation for the fight.

Week 16: Fight Week. Rest in preparation. Final adjustments with coaches ahead of the event.

**Competitors for the Oct 24th event are currently undergoing Fight Camp preparations for their bouts.
